2. Pruning

Properly pruning your flowers, trees, and shrubs is an essential way to keep your landscape looking good year-round. 3. Mulching

4. Keep it small

Only make your garden as big as you can happily maintain. If you’ve overdone it, don’t be afraid to decrease the size of your garden and plant grass seed. You should enjoy your landscape, so if it starts to become more of an inconvenience to maintain it than an enjoyment, then it might be time to change it up. Changing your landscape can be a difficult job but in the long run will be more manageable.
