Is spot treatment safe?

Our spot treatment has no soil activity, no run-off and will not kill other plants. Our eco-friendly spot treatments eradicate weeds and invasive plants. Ascent Yard Care is a certified applicator recognized by the province of British Columbia.

Do you haul away the debris?

We haul away the cuttings and debris using a wood chipper or trailer depending on the project. We can also haul away or chip any existing garden waste on your property.

Do you require a down payment?

We do not require a down payment on most projects.

What time of year should the work be done?

Some plants should be pruned as specific times of year and some projects are best done in the spring or fall. Please fill out the quote form at the bottom of this page for a free in-person assessment.

Can tree pruning and garden work be done during the winter?

In fact winter is the best time for tree pruning as trees are dormant, meaning they do not bleed sap and deciduous trees have dropped there leaves, making navigating the canopy easier. Garden projects done in the winter benefit from more space in the garden, without annuals, bulbs and tender growth to work around.
