How far booked out are you?
Your free quote will be provided in 3-5 business days, once the quote is approved we are scheduling clients 1-4 weeks out.
What areas do you serve?
Greater Victoria, Sidney, the Highlands, Metchosin, Sooke, Oak Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay and beyond.
I want to improve my yard but I'm not sure where to start.
Jake will tour your property with you and discuss the details and pricing of various projects. If you are on a budget we can provide information on the most effective way to improve you property for the smallest investment.
Do you care for acreages?
Yes, we offer various levels of care such as on-demand service and recurring service. Our crew and equipment is fit to care for ornamental landscapes as well as large brush clearing, chipping and removal projects.
Do you provide other services like power washing, irrigation maintenance, gutter cleaning and junk removal?

Do you provide maintenance?
We provide spring and fall cleanups and on-demand service.
How many people are on the crew?
In total, Ascent Yard Care is a team of 8 people. The crew size for most projects is between 2 and 4.
Is it safe to use herbicide?
Our herbicide has no soil activity, no run-off and will not kill other plants. We offer natural methods and herbicide methods for invasive plant control. Ascent Yard Care is a certified landscape herbicide applicator recognized by the province of British Columbia.
Do you haul away the debris?
We haul away the cuttings and debris or chip the debris using a wood chipper. We can also haul away or chip any existing garden waste on your property.
Do you require a down payment?
We do not require a down payment. Payment is due within 10 days of the project being completed.
What time of year should the work be done?
Some plants should be pruned as specific times of year and some garden projects are best to be done at specific times of year. Please fill out the quote form at the bottom of this page for a free in-person assessment.
Can tree pruning and garden work be done during the winter?
The winter is in fact the best time for many types of pruning because trees and shrubs are in a dormant state. Winter is a great time of year for garden cleanups and soil amendments as well as brush clearing and invasive species removal.
